Savory or Sweet, Stop Here to Eat.

Whether you’re visiting Jackson or hosting guests (especially families), Persephone is a must include on the checklist of family-friendly places to visit. If you’re in need of a morning cappuccino and decadent breakfast or a light lunch and pastry, this is the fun, foodie destination you’ll want to visit.

The French-inspired boulangerie is quaint, chic, and special. Light streams in through the largely windowed walls and outside you can see the deck fit with gas fire heaters and happy patrons. Kids love to snack on warm, fresh waffles, yummy cookies, or a cup of soup with homemade bread and jam. It’s hard to go wrong here if you’re looking for something rich and tasty.

True Persephon-ites are treated to the luxury of being able to download the “locals line” app and order their meals online. Set your pick up time and, if the kids are a handful, you can even request an employee-run your order to your car – because nothing should stop mom from getting her morning coffee. If you are looking for the full experience, parking is right along the front or you can park in the Deloney parking lot on the backside.

Emily Coleman
Emily Coleman is a Jersey girl born and raised who caught the outdoor bug upon moving to Vermont to pursue a degree in Adventure Education and Environmental Studies from Green Mountain College. She spent most of her years before college deeply entrenched in the world of competitive cheerleading before discovering a passion for outdoor sports including mountain biking, white water kayaking, bikepacking, backpacking, slacklining, rock climbing, and skiing. Having been surrounded by children her entire life in her mother's daycare, she always had a strong affinity for kids. She moved to the mountains of Jackson Hole after graduating to coach for the local Kayak Club during the summers and nanny in the winters. Becoming a part of the Happy Active Family team felt like the perfect collision of her passion for building strong community bonds and encouraging an outdoor lifestyle.
