An absolutely spectacular setting for an afternoon of family-friendly relaxation.
Are you looking to be surrounded by the Blue Ridge Mountains, enjoying a glass of wine while your kids can fun freely? Whenever we are in the Charlottesville, VA area, Pippin Hill Farm & Vineyards is a must. It is a great spot for the whole family to enjoy fresh air, great food, wine for adults and even better views.
It is located in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains, the views are stunning and their food is spectacular. We love going for a hike and then head to Pippin Hill for lunch and enjoy the vineyards for a couple of hours. We like to bring a picnic blanket and books.
Insider Tip: It can get busy on the weekends, we recommend calling ahead or making a reservation (if the group is 6 or more). Outside food is not allowed but they have a full menu restaurant which is delicious.
