Play Street Museum is an engaging and interactive children's museum catered to children ages 8 and under.

I was thoroughly impressed when visiting the Lake Highlands location, which is modeled after Downtown Dallas. Play Street is perfect for hosting a party or taking a younger child to play that may feel overstimulated by a traditional children's museum. Play Street Museum has many locations, and each is unique to the environment it is surrounded by. For example, their Plano location has a "great outdoors" theme that provides various activities and toys centered around the outdoors. Play Street also has a craft corner where children can create and paint their own pottery or simply paint on a canvas. Their mission is based on providing a way for children to use their imaginations, problem-solve, and creatively play. Play Street has been awarded many titles, a few being "best children's museum," "best family destination," "best birthday party venue," and "best indoor entertainment." The museum is not a drop-off facility, so plan on staying to play with your little one! They also do not allow food in the play area, so make sure your child isn't hungry before. With locations all over Texas, it is easy to find one in your area to start playing!
