A Small, but Nice Neighborhood Park with a Great Paved Trail that Is Perfect for Biking or Riding a Scooter!

With the sidewalks and wide paths throughout the neighborhood, it's very pedestrian-friendly to get to (if you've been in Flagstaff for a while, you'll know sidewalks in neighborhoods are few and far between). Next to a large grassy sports field is a playground and ramada. Driving by, it's a bit hard to tell there is more than just the sports field, with no designated parking lot and the playground and ramada being tucked within the homes.

The playground is on the smaller side, but it is well-kept and has a few slides and climbing areas. However, the large green space next to it is fantastic to just let the kids run around!

Please be aware that there are only port-a-potties at this park. 

There is also a great trail system that you can access from here called the Ponderosa Trail. It is approximately 2.5 miles in length and has an elevation gain of 202 feet. The entire trail is paved, making it a great spot to bring your bikes or have the kids ride their scooters. It is also dog-friendly! There are a few side trails that will take you into the surrounding neighborhoods, but if you continue straight, you will eventually end up at High Country Trail Rd. 

There is no parking lot for this park as it is situated in a neighborhood, so you will need to find parking along the street near the park.
