An amazing park in the south of town with bathrooms, steep slides, unique features, and a lot of space.

Rangeview Park is home to a gloriously fun playground that even adults can have fun on while their kids play on the variety of unique offerings in the great outdoors. The slides are steep and tall and the equipment is one-of-a-kind. It’s surrounded by a lush green lawn and is naturally-fenced-in as it lies within the center of an island of houses.

Tiny kiddos enjoy the smaller playground as well as a few other features that are great for all ages. The digger station offered a creative play area and we giggled as we bounced back and forth on the spring-riders that are hard to come by in parks these days. It’s a great place to head if you’re south of town and want to make a park stop. Or take the bike path that winds through tunnels and over bridges as it makes its way south towards the park.

There are bathrooms during the warmer season and there is a picnic table or two. However, the grass looked inviting and perfect for an old fashioned picnic on a blanket.

Emily Coleman
Emily Coleman is a Jersey girl born and raised who caught the outdoor bug upon moving to Vermont to pursue a degree in Adventure Education and Environmental Studies from Green Mountain College. She spent most of her years before college deeply entrenched in the world of competitive cheerleading before discovering a passion for outdoor sports including mountain biking, white water kayaking, bikepacking, backpacking, slacklining, rock climbing, and skiing. Having been surrounded by children her entire life in her mother's daycare, she always had a strong affinity for kids. She moved to the mountains of Jackson Hole after graduating to coach for the local Kayak Club during the summers and nanny in the winters. Becoming a part of the Happy Active Family team felt like the perfect collision of her passion for building strong community bonds and encouraging an outdoor lifestyle.
