A sports complex with something for every age, and ample acreage to wander!

Red Creek Park is a great location for a family-inclusive day.  There are a ton of different sports features all within walking distance from each other.  Once you park in the main lot, you and your family can enjoy a skate park, rollerblading rink, soccer fields, basketball courts, baseball fields, hiking trails, volleyball courts, picnic tables, playgrounds, and tennis courts.  The Southampton Town Animal Shelter and Adoption Center is also located in Red Creek Park.  Children can have the opportunity to walk the shelter dogs and play with the kittens.

The park is free to enjoy from sunrise to sunset.  If you happen to be in town for the summer, I would encourage looking at the day camps they offer for children.  The brochures and sign-ups can be found on their website (https://www.southamptontownny.gov/364/Parks-Recreation-Programs).  As children, my brother and I grew up going to the basketball and baseball camps that were offered at the park.  We met some great friends here.

The skate park daily pass is $5, but $50 for the entire year for residents of Southampton Town ($60 for non-residents).  There are also different discounted rates for family passes for different sized families.

Red Creek is a great resource for all your family’s sports needs.  They do not provide sporting equipment so make sure to bring your own.  And after a great day of running around, go walk a dog, or maybe even take one home!
