A great place to hike with kids ready to burn some energy!
The Reflector Loop is super convenient from the town of Big Sky (above Big Sky meadow) but feels more secluded than it actually is. It's beginner-friendly (I'd say easy to moderate), albeit long (4 miles), various ups and downs (elevation 866 ft), and can be muddy (can be slippery). I'd recommend pants to protect your legs from longer grasses. Also, be prepared for the fact that horses do use the trail so you will need to avoid droppings.
While there are animals in the area (bring bear spray), we only saw grouse. The wildflowers are gorgeous and the views are lovely around the area.
