Spend an Afternoon at the Beach.
Located in the Bear Lake State Park entrance next to the campground, this beach area is very popular. The cost is $15 for the day and they shut off access once the parking lot is full, often by 12 pm on weekends, so make sure to arrive early in the summer months. The beach area has SUP rentals and motorized rentals available as well as a quick little restaurant along the beach. You could spend your entire afternoon here and have plenty to do.
If you'd rather avoid the crowds, we recommend North Beach Bear Lake, the beach that many locals prefer. Rendezvous Beach is about fifteen minutes from the town of Garden City, which offers many dining options. Ruca's is a great place to go for a quick sandwich. If you're looking for a place to have a sit-down meal, we recommend Campfire Grill at Conestoga Ranch.
