Richmond Hill Park is a 180 acre wooded park located in NW Asheville. With its close proximity to town it is an awesome spot to head to if you only have a short time to get out in nature. With miles of multi-use trails and a large disc golf course it is usually pretty busy between walkers and mountain bikers. Trails are well marked and there are many options for different loops of varying length and difficulty. We personally enjoy toting our toddler in his hiking pack and doing the red loop with our dogs. It follows a beautiful creek which allows us a few spots to let the pups and the tiny human play in the creek! As of Fall 2019 they are constructing bathroom facilites at the large parking area but I am not sure when they are scheduled to be completed but will update when they are.
