52 Acres of Recreational Activities Make up the Rio Visa Community Park in Peoria, Arizona.
Within the Rio Vista Community Park is a plethora of options for pretty much any age. The playground has shade awnings over almost all of the equipment and includes slides, climbing nets, tunnels, and a separate playground for the smaller ones! There is also a large covered pavilion with picnic tables and charcoal grills located next to the playground. Be sure to bring a lunch and enjoy this area to its fullest extent!
The park also has seven softball and baseball fields, sand volleyball courts, and a skate park. On the weekends, it’s a popular destination for baseball teams to use the fields, and they even have batting cages available for baseball and softball players.
The 52,000 square-foot Rio Vista Recreation Center is also here within the park. It has a public gymnasium, indoor racquetball courts, pickleball, group fitness classes, a game room, basketball courts, volleyball courts, and a climbing wall! This is a great place to head to when the temperature gets too hot to be outside! There is a daily use fee for the recreation center, but it is very reasonable. Prices start at $4.00 for residents to $7.00 for non-residents.
The Rio Vista Community Park is really a great place to come any time of the year, but especially when the weather starts to get nice outside! You could easily spend an entire day here going back and forth from the playground and ball fields to the recreation center!
