Riverfront Park is a popular spot for fishermen and for those who want to relax and take in the views of the St. Johns River. This area was badly damaged during Hurricane Irma but was rebuilt to be even more accessible for those who want to spend some time along the river. It’s a great spot to watch for boats, manatees, and enjoy a Jacksonville sunset. While Jacksonville’s beaches face east, the views from Riverfront park face west, which make for beautiful sunsets. Go play at Landon Park and then take the quick walk over to this scenic spot to enjoy the views of the St. Johns. This park is also a few blocks away from the historic San Marco Square, where you can grab a bite to eat, coffee, or even a donut.
