An All-In-One Stop for a Fun Day Out with the Family

The Roadrunner Park and Playground is a great little park jammed pack with amenities and activities for you and your family. They have baseball fields, softball fields, tennis courts, soccer fields, sand volleyball, playground, swimming pool, covered picnic area with grills, restrooms, and a fishing lagoon. 

The playground includes a shade structure with wood chips underneath, big kid swings, baby swings, a few slides, and climbing ladders. There are a few picnic benches under a gazebo right next to the playground, so you can easily sit and the shade and watch your kids play.

Be sure to bring your fishing poles also! The fishing pond is approximately two acres in size with a depth of eight feet. You are allowed to keep the fish you catch here. Up to two catfish, two trout, one bass (at least 13 inches in length), five sunfish, and one white amur (at least 30 inches in length) for your daily bag limits. The pond gets stocked periodically and is always a fun time! 

There is an aquatic center as well on the Roadrunner Park grounds that is open seasonally. Pool features include a baby pool, ADA chair lift, water slide, basketball hoop, as well as restrooms and showers. A great place to cool off after running around at the park! 

Another great feature of this park is that there is a farmer's market that happens on most Saturdays, making it easy to grab a few fruits and veggies while also getting the kids out for some fresh air!
