Rotary Park Is a Wonderful Hidden Gem that You Will Want to Check Out.

Located northwest of downtown Phoenix, near the 101 in Scottsdale, Rotary Park is a small 8-acre park featuring a playground, two drop-in ramadas, picnic spaces, a walking path, and restrooms. The park was built by the Rotary Club of Scottsdale and enjoyed by the community. The playground area features two play structures, a swing set, and a bouncy ride-on ladybug. The first play structure, geared towards preschool/toddler age, has a slide, steps, climbing, and ladder. The second play structure, geared toward elementary age, has a slide, rock wall, climbing, steps, and interactive play station. Both play structures have a few small coverings, but otherwise, these playgrounds are mostly in the sun. There are mature trees nearby that give some shade during the day. So during the summer, this area can get hot. The surface area of the playground area is a mix of mulch, sand, and poured-in rubber. Near the playground is a covered picnic space and restrooms. Bring a lunch or snack to enjoy.

Around the green space, there is a small walking path. This is good for pushing a stroller, scooters, and young bike riders. The open field is perfect for bringing a soccer ball to kick, football to throw, frisbee, or any other fun.

This park might be small, but it's the perfect space to get outside and enjoy some fun. It's a fantastic space for the Gaines Ranch neighborhood. Check out the Rotary Park for your next family outing.
