Round 1 Arcade and Bowling Alley in Towson, Maryland

Round 1 is a massive entertainment complex located on the ground floor of the Towson Town Center.  They offer a wide variety of arcade games, bowling, billiards, karaoke, ping pong and darts (not to mention my personal weakness… Claw Machines!!!).  There’s something for everyone here so there’s little chance of getting bored.

Your first stop should be the Customer Service Desk where they’ll provide you with a card that you load with credits so you won’t have to carry buckets of change around.  You can choose the credit amounts that fit your group. (Any credits that go unused stay on the card so you can use them when you return.)

There’s a cafeteria style restaurant area with plenty of seating and a full menu of the usual comfort food fare (burgers, fries, pizza, fried chicken, etc).  

Once you’ve finished playing arcade games and claw machines you can take the points you’ve earned that now live on your card to the Victory Zone gift shop to redeem them for prizes.  This place has all the excitement of the boardwalk arcade and more without the 3 hour car ride to the beach.

If you’re planning on taking little ones for bowling be prepared for 10 Pin style bowling with larger balls, Duckpin bowling isn’t offered.
