When I first started mountain biking in Teton Valley, I wanted to find trails where I could improve my skills and endurance levels. After researching and talking to bike shops, I found a trail called Rush Hour. Rush Hour is a single-track trail that about 4.1 miles out and back. It begins with a bit of climb up some switch backs if you begin at the trail head in Victor, ID. It follows the highway, hence its name, and comes out to the “Welcome to Idaho” sign. That’s one of the most exciting parts of the trail for me, other than the few bridge crossings!

Rush Hour is a great trail for beginners and those looking to practice certain mountain bike skills such as switch backs, cornering, and technical climbing. The trail has a consistent series of switch backs and straight-aways. Rush Hour can also be used by hikers and trail runners, however, it’s used by a lot of mountain bikers so be weary if you decide to do another activity!

There is no official address for this trail, however, it can be foundstraight across from the Mike Harris Campground. There are also trails at Mike Harris which are talked about in another article. Parking is on Old Pass Highway in Victor, ID. You will see a sign that says "Teton Pass Trails." You can park there and then bike down the dirt/tar road. On the left you will see a green gate, make sure you go past that and then take the trail that is after that. The trail sign is labeled "033."
