Segar Playground (recently renovated) in Center City Philadelphia, is a local favorite. There is a large big kids area with several climbing structures and a separate toddler area with baby swings. The park offers plenty of room to run around as well as space for scootering. A splash park operates in the summer months. Basketball and tennis courts are available for play. Also worth noting is the onsite fenced-in dog park. There is a Whole Foods located a short block away to pick up drinks and snacks.
