The Sewanee Inn is just past Sewanee village and it's gorgeously situated near the golf course. We like to go near sunset to enjoy the views, grab a cocktail and some appetizers, and let our kids run around outside on the green. During COVID, you must order at the bar but you can order from a pretty full menu. We had to return to the bar to pick up our food and drinks and then we went outside to enjoy the lovely porch with space heaters. There is plenty of room for kids to run around and the view of the stars once it gets darker is beautiful. Servers are friendly but they were understaffed during COVID so the wait was a bit long (something to remember if your kids are hungry).
