Apples, Apple Slushies, Apple Donuts, and More!
Shade Tree Farm and Orchard is a sweet farm in Adams, Tennessee - about 45 minutes north of Nashville. They have an orchard with apple, peach, and pear trees, blueberry and blackberry bushes, sunflowers, and a little country store. There’s plenty of seating on the porch to enjoy Saturday pancake breakfast, while the kids play on the tractor themed playground.
In the warmer months, you can pick your own blueberries and blackberries, and in autumnl, you can pick your own apples. They also make delicious apple cider slushies and donuts. Unfortunately, there was a late freeze in 2020, so there are not many apples to pick this season. We still enjoyed going and letting the kids experience apple picking, but we also bought a peck of pre-picked apples from their store.
