Bradford Mountain is located just under an hour from Boston, with nice trails, a large beginner area and cozy facilities.

Located about 40 miles north of Boston, Ski Bradford is a great mountain to spend the day and features 13 trails including a terrain park. There are two green runs (beginner), four blue (intermediate) and seven black (advance) trails with a large beginner ski area. There are three chair lifts and six surface lifts (magic carpet and pull rope).

The learning hill is a nice roped-off area. Unlike other mountains, learning mountain is not accessible from other trails (so you don’t have lots of people flying through it). The learning area has two large magic carpets and a smaller magic carpet that is perfect for your little ones who are just starting out. On the larger end of the learning hill, you can access the top by two magic carpets on either side. The hill also features a few hoops for the kids to practice squatting and bending to go under, as well as turning to get to the other hoops.

Plenty of snack options to purchase or bring your own and enjoy the fire pits and plenty of seating. Plenty of outdoor seating is available both indoor and outdoor as well as super-cute food ‘huts’ featuring different snacks (including a ‘Waffle’ Hut!).

You can purchase tickets online as well as on-site. Rentals are also available. The parking is large and not a far walk to the slopes. Ski and snowboard lessons (private and group) are available during the week, weekend and vacation weeks.

The Head of Accounting and Boston Ambassador, Jenny has been living in Boston for almost 10 years. Before Boston, she lived in Washington, DC for 8 years, and previous to that grew up on Long Island, NY. Along the way, she spent a few months in Amsterdam with her family biking all around and exploring that beautiful city! Jenny has always enjoyed being active - from organized sports to jogging, and of course, being in the garden as much as possible when the weather is cooperative. She tries to include her children in all of her active hobbies. With two toddler boys, ages 3 and 5, she and her husband spend their time discovering new places and things to do in the New England area. Spending time outdoors in all types of weather and encouraging her children to love all seasons is very important to her - and so is helping and encouraging others to do the same. Jenny and her family love spending time at the beach, traveling, taking walks and hikes, and of course, finding new playgrounds!
