The hill from Reeves Farmhouse leading down to Bluemont Park is a great sledding spot.
Bluemont Park is an Arlington County park with plenty of parking and the W&OD trail runs right through it for a snowy day hike. Bluemont has 70 acres available for you to run, play, sled, and explore. There are plenty of trails for a nice winter hike, or spots to sit by the stream and relax. When there is no snow on the ground, you can enjoy the tennis courts, basketball courts, disc golf area, volleyball courts, picnic areas, and playground at Bluemont Park. Don't forget to bring your own sleds!
