Summertime Events in Jackson Hole.

Jackson is a social town all year round and summer hosts something fun almost daily.  Wednesday's we have People's Market at Snow King, Saturday's are the Farmer's Market in the town square and scattered throughout the great hiking, biking and swimming, we suggest checking out the wide variety of live music available.

Jackson Hole Live!

Head over to the Snow King ball field to enjoy the summer concert series! $5 for adults and free for kids 17 and under. “Mark your calendar for June 16, June 30, July 19 and August 16 for a stellar season featuring eight bands, mom and pop food vendors, a kid zone, nonprofit booths, and family-friendly fun. Concerts begin at 6 p.m. and end by 10 p.m. at Snow King Ball Park.” Face painting, a strider bike course, and a kid zone make for a must-attend event! There are always a ton of options for play just outside the fence on the playground at the base of Snow King as well! I love seeing families with their blankets spread amongst the grass, babies chilling and toddlers dancing about.

Watch your calendar for the Annual Crawfish Boil and Raptor Fest in June. The Raptor Fest will be hosting a variety of exciting events Stick around for live music.

Music On Main

Every Thursday from late June 20th through mid-August head over to Victor’s City Park for a family-friendly free concert series!

If you want some ideas for pre-concert activities, head over to Sherman Park where you’ll find a popular Victor playground and the Victor Bike Park pump track. It’s perfect for little kids and adults!

Concert on the Commons

A family-friendly concert series at Teton Village.  The environment is perfect for kids. Toddlers and babies dancing around the dance floor with their little headphones is a show in itself! Head over to the playground near Hotel Terra if they need a little playtime. Lots of food and drink are available for purchase as well.

Seven FREE concerts begin in July and are every Sunday at 5 PM through August.

People's Market

Every Wednesday night from 4-6 head over to the Snow King ball field for a lovely array of booths full of local treats and goods. If you’re an out-of-towner, this is the best place to feel like a local. Grab some dinner and a beer on tap but don’t forget to bring your reusable mug! This is a minimal to zero waste event. Kids can play on the playground while you enjoy the company of friends and live music!

Farmer's Market

Every Saturday morning throughout the summer in Town Square. Visit booths full of yummy local treats and goods! Kids are often seen running around searching for other friends or kid-friendly booths! It’s best reached via bike or by foot due to heavy traffic and not a lot of parking. Get to town early and grab breakfast at JH Coffee Roasters, Persephone's, or Cafe Genevieve. Don’t fill up too much though because there are lots of yummy treats to try at the market!

Emily Coleman
Emily Coleman is a Jersey girl born and raised who caught the outdoor bug upon moving to Vermont to pursue a degree in Adventure Education and Environmental Studies from Green Mountain College. She spent most of her years before college deeply entrenched in the world of competitive cheerleading before discovering a passion for outdoor sports including mountain biking, white water kayaking, bikepacking, backpacking, slacklining, rock climbing, and skiing. Having been surrounded by children her entire life in her mother's daycare, she always had a strong affinity for kids. She moved to the mountains of Jackson Hole after graduating to coach for the local Kayak Club during the summers and nanny in the winters. Becoming a part of the Happy Active Family team felt like the perfect collision of her passion for building strong community bonds and encouraging an outdoor lifestyle.
