The Familiar Favorite Has Moved to The Wharf, With A New and Improved Look And An Equally Exciting Menu!!

Surfside Glover Park was a staple for years on the DC restaurant landscape, and when they moved to the expanded new location at Surfside Tenleytown their loyal fans, both new and old, quickly adjusted to the beautiful new location. Now in addition to the similar Surfside Dupont, the team at Georgetown Events has done it again, opening a smaller, but equally delicious Surfside at the Wharf. A grab-and-go spot with a concept that is designed for speed and convenience, it is super-COVID friendly, including the airy "indoor" dining area and additional outdoor seating.

The staff was enthusiastic and informed, and the food and drinks we ordered were outstanding. The atmosphere is more casual than Surfside Tenleytown, with no table service, but it really works.

The menu features an excellent variety. It was one of those moments when I wanted so many different items that it took some to decide. We ordered the delicious dips to start while we made a plan (the best queso, guacamole and salsa I've had!) The kids' menu is always a crowd-pleaser.

The restaurant serves also serves delicious ice cream and sweet treats if you have room after your meal.

The Wharf parking lot is beneath the restaurant, with convenient stairs that come out right next to the restaurant by the lovely fountain in the courtyard. It's also less than half a mile to L'Enfant Plaza Metro Station.
