We showed up at Taco Mamacita at 6pm on a Saturday night with two children in tow with no reservation (okay, probably not the smartest), but the staff couldn't have been more accomodating to get us a family-friendly table and ensure we were served quickly. The tacos are a great, the margaritas are better, and the kids menu is cheap ($3.99) and cheerful - quesadillas, mac-n-cheese, chicken figners, nachos, etc. with sides. It's a popular spot, so be prepared to wait at peak times. In good weather, there is a shaded terrace out front which is pleasant and close to the sidewalk for great people-watching.
Parking can be challenging but there is valet; paid lot parking across the street.
