Taney Park is located at 26th and Pine, nestled in the Fitler Square neighborhood in Philadelphia.

Taney Park is about 8 blocks from the heart of Rittenhouse Shopping and Park  (about 15 min walk). It is a neighborhood gem. It has 2 sections of the playground, one for toddlers and the other for bigger kids.  Fully equipped with lots of shade, baby swings, plenty of slides, a mini rock climbing wall, puppet show theater, and plenty of obstacles to climb on. Surrounding the park is plenty of green grassy areas, benches and picnic tables. The playground is located directly next to a basketball court, the dog park, and the entrance of the Schuylkill River Trail (an amazing trail that leads to the art museum).

Be sure to grab a coffee or sandwiches at a great local shop, Rowhome Coffee at 26th and Pine, across from the entrance. They have delicious locally roasted coffee by La Colombe and their famous pretzel all-day sandwiches.
