Kids will Love Story Time & the Children's Wing Indoor Activities.
The Teton County Public Library is a fantastic place to bring the kids on a rainy day. It's especially great for the little ones, open year-round with an entirely separate wing dedicated to children across from the main library. With its large windows streaming in natural light, playroom, fenced-in outdoor area, and occasional structured events, the library is the perfect place to have some fun while learning something new.
Library Storytime is an intimate event. Sit around the circle as the theatrical librarians introduce exciting new children's books to add to your collection. Stories are read and songs are sung and – right when you think the fun is over – the children gravitate towards the playroom in the far back corner. It’s a great place for parents to meet new parents and let the kids socialize. For ages 1-3, storytime is on Tuesdays at 10:05, 10:35, 11:05, and Thursdays at 10:05. For ages 4-6 Storytime is on Thursdays at 10:30 and 11:00. (Check for updated schedules during COVID and beyond.)
