The Hazen Pizzeria is a sweet little spot that is cozy inside with a great outdoor patio for the warmer months.

They check all the boxes in terms of food and beverages and really knock it out of the park when it comes to service. Whether you are there to squeeze in a little work over lunch, treat the kiddos to a date, or get out with your spouse for lunch or dinner to steal some alone time, the staff at The Haven really goes out of their way to make you comfortable. 

They refer to themselves as a pizzeria, but that is really only just the foundation. Comfort food, creative healthy options, great kids items and fantastic local brews are all on the menu at what was formerly the "other DRP" or Del Ray Pizza. They rebranded quite recently, and my guess is they did it because people were constantly mixing up the two when ordering food to go (heard this from a friend). Anyway, if you are hitting the Mount Vernon Trail it's just steps away from one of the lots on course, or if you have plans to meet someone for 18 holes at Belle Haven your partner is almost definitely a regular at The Haven.

The Dyke Marsh Wildlife Refuge is right across GW Parkway, just minutes away, a perfect starting point for a walk, run or bike ride on The Mount Vernon Trail.  You can also head further up the Parkway to visit George Washington's estate!

Luckily, this great restaurant is a fifteen-minute drive from two of our favorite play places! Our Special Harbour is perfect for a hot day. Kids of all ages love their splash pad. Chessies Big Backyard is next door and has all the playground amenities you could ever ask for, including ice cream vendors! The Haven Pizzeria is the perfect meal after playing at either of these locations!
