A popular destination worth all the hype!

East Nashville is known for its food scene and The Pharmacy is one of its best local spots. While they are known for their burgers and homemade sodas, their biergarten is a welcome haven for families to dine outside and enjoy a little piece of Nashville. They are currently only allowing outdoor dining, but they have added additional tables to the side of the restaurants to accommodate more, socially distanced seating. We went on a rainy day, and they had canopies set over the tables to keep their guests dry. To order food and grab a table, you now walk up to the booth set up in front of the restaurant and place your order there. After ordering, you walk straight to their outdoor patios. Water cups, utensils, and sauces are set up in a grab-and-go style to limit contact with servers. Servers still bring you your food, and it’s packaged in to-go boxes, again to increase social distancing. They are truly taking all the necessary precautions to keep their guests and staff safe! 

The Pharmacy is a popular destination for locals and tourists alike, so try visiting during off-peak hours to avoid the crowds and a line. We usually go for an early dinner or on a weekday. There is a small parking lot in front of the restaurant but plan on finding street parking. We usually end up parking a few blocks up and it’s a quick walk down the street.
