The Ronald Kirk Bridge and Felix H. Lozada, Sr. Gateway
109 Continental Ave, Dallas, TX 75207
Play, bike, jog, or eat on the Ronald Kirk Bridge and Felix H. Lozada, Sr. Gateway to get a beautiful view of the river and Dallas skyline.
The Ronald Kirk Bridge and Feliz Lozada, Sr. Gateway, formally known as the Dallas Continental Bridge Gateway is an urban playground filled with climbing blocks, chess boards, and bocce ball over the Trinity River. There are various fitness classes held on the bridge throughout the week, and there are also food trucks that line up every day to offer a variety of food. You can walk or job across the bridge and onto the Trinity Skyline Trail for a longer run, and then enjoy some food truck eats at the picnic table and seating area. You have an incredible view of the Dallas skyline from the bridge, and lots of fun things to do along the gateway. If it is a hotter day and you're worried about overheating, there is a play fountain, misters, and various shade structures to keep you cool! The bridge can be accessed off of Riverfront and Core St. on the downtown side and Canada Drive and Singleton on the West Dallas Side. If you are driving I recommend accessing the bridge from the West Dallas side because there is a parking lot with lots of space to park. Otherwise, riding your bike over the bridge and to the Trinity Skyline Trail is a great way to accessibly see it all! There are bike racks along the bridge to make it easy.
