Located in the heart of Society Hill on Delancey between 3rd and 4th, Three Bears Playground is a surprising city find.

Three Bears Playground is a simple and small playground nestled in the heart of this lovely neighborhood. The wonderful playground set has a few small slides and climbing structures and a fun bridge structure, there’s also a new soft surface (always nice from a safety perspective), and benches and tables for picnics and relaxing. You could easily bring snacks or pick up lunch from a nearby spot and sit and enjoy under the shade while the little ones run and play.

This spot is a charming and adorable playground that is available for any time play and also for events and parties.

The kids will love the three-bears statue at the entrance to the playground, it’s very sweet.

The Friends of Three Bears Park, a non-profit organization dedicated to maintaining the upkeep of Three Bears Park, has renovated and enhanced the entire park to ensure that the park stays clean and at its best for daily use. They have installed new benches, cement, tables, a fountain, a tree and flower garden, and slate walkways. The playground is cleaned weekly and funded through events put on by the Friends of Three Bears, so you can rest easy knowing that this park is well taken care of.

If you are local, you can help contribute to these efforts by attending the annual Fall Festival, Park After Dark, the Halloween Trick or Treat Exchange, Spring into your Park Clean Up, or the Easter Egg Hunt. You can also become a member by clicking the link "become a member" link on the Three Bears website with three-member options ranging from "Paddington Bear" ($500) to "Corduroy Bear" ($100). Memberships include benefits like tickets to events and a birthday party at the park.
