If you're looking for some fresh air and seek a playground in the North Denver area, Twin Lakes Park is a great option! The playground was updated in 2019 with a clubhouse "Kidz Only" style and is in great condition. It is perfect for a quick game of tag and your preschool/elementary age kids will love it. There is a fireman pole, climbing net, musical elements, and one slide. Alongside the play structure is a hollow log and tree trunk steps that give a natural feel as well as a snail bouncer and seesaw.
A fun side feature of the park is a wavy sidewalk, perfect for some strider bike action or scootering! There is also a lake with fishing and a beautiful walking path for a scenic stroll around it.
What else to know: There are two portable restrooms and a covered table near the playground.
