Twinkle Playspace is ideal for active kids in NYC to bounce, play, and giggle!

If you're in the Williamsburg or Greenpoint area of Brooklyn, consider checking out this whimsical, fun, and family-owned indoor playspace, ideal for rainy or cold New York City days, with your kids. Twinkle was a passion project created in Brooklyn, by Brooklyn locals.

The space itself is cozy but modern and full of handcrafted art and intentionally curated themes.  Your children's imagination will explode with each interactive exhibit.  From the dress-up to the secret dance room, to the climbing structures and slides, everyone is bound to have an awesome time.  My favorite part was the secret entryway to the upstairs dance party.  Fit with colorful lights and dance music, it's surely the best place in town to boogey.  Take the slide down to the floor when you're done!

This space also has bathrooms with kid-sized sinks next to the adult-sized sinks which were so cute, a party room for events, and a stroller carousel in the very front.

Emily Coleman
Emily Coleman is a Jersey girl born and raised who caught the outdoor bug upon moving to Vermont to pursue a degree in Adventure Education and Environmental Studies from Green Mountain College. She spent most of her years before college deeply entrenched in the world of competitive cheerleading before discovering a passion for outdoor sports including mountain biking, white water kayaking, bikepacking, backpacking, slacklining, rock climbing, and skiing. Having been surrounded by children her entire life in her mother's daycare, she always had a strong affinity for kids. She moved to the mountains of Jackson Hole after graduating to coach for the local Kayak Club during the summers and nanny in the winters. Becoming a part of the Happy Active Family team felt like the perfect collision of her passion for building strong community bonds and encouraging an outdoor lifestyle.
