Ice cream parlor offering dozens of flavors in a low-key, colorful space. 
 

Located in the Plaza Midwood area of Charlotte, Two Scoops Creamery is a colorful ice cream parlor. A local artist Mirian Yumet hand-painted all the art in the shop. Two Scoops Creamery is locally owned and operated by three best friends, Marque, Jae, and Rich. Marque is a lactose-intolerant ice cream lover who learned the art of making ice cream from his family in Florida. They offer 32 unique flavors of crafted homemade ice cream year-round as well as seasonal recipes. They do not carry all the flavors at once, but they make a rotation throughout the year. You can choose from Cookie Monster to Vanilla Fudge Brownie or Thin Mint Crunch to Not Your Mama’s Pumpkin Pie. The recipe for their ice cream mix is a family secret. All I know is it's YUM. Along with the ice cream, you can choose from a number of toppings to put into a cone or cup (once you make that tough decision on what ice cream you are going to choose). Check out the art along the walls or head outside to sit at the picnic table. Do be aware that the outside seating area is close to the main road. Keep your eyes on the little ones who like to wander off.
