If agreeing on a variety of food is the question, Union Market is the answer.

Wandering the aisles of Union Market is an activity in itself. The selection is far-reaching and enables guests to choose their preference before dining together at the communal seating options, available both inside and out. With a large group or family, it is often hard to meet everyone's nutrition needs, especially when individuals with allergies or dietary restrictions come together with picky eaters and people who like to graze on a variety of options.

Union Market is home to Bidwell, a sustainable full-service restaurant to the far left of the entrance, but also a group of other small restaurants including Stellina Pizzaria, Pluma Cafe by Bluebird Bakery, Shouk, District Doughnut and Coffee, Rappahonnock Oyster Company and Takorean among many others. There is also a fish market, meat market, wine store, and a kid's shop called Three Littles.

Now open seven days a week, the popular market also hosts a variety of special events and performances, especially during the warmer months. There is even a rooftop green space at Union Market, where draft and juice box cocktails are served. You can even bring food from any of the vendors on-site upstairs to enjoy while taking in the 360-degree city views, or elect to take in the seasonal fare available up there in the form of one of the "Hi-Lawn's" Picnic Baskets.

The parking lot is secure and monitored by security, and the outdoor eating area is safely separated from traffic by fencing. Restrooms are available.

The Lane Social Club is closeby, as well as Dolcezza Factory (where you can watch your gelato prepared). Also, Joseph H. Cole Park Playground is just minutes away.
