A gem in Park City to thrill family members of all ages: The Olympic Park!

If there is one thing in Park City that is entirely worth going to, it is the Utah Olympic Park. As a designated Official U.S. Olympic Training Site, you can see real athletes training alongside young hopefuls. The facility is incredible and sits 7,000 feet above sea level, so the view is amazing.

There are plenty of activities available at the Utah Olympic Park to keep you entertained. For $80 you can experience the thrill of bobsledding on the Olympic Sliding Track where the bobsled, skeleton, and luge events were in the 2002 Winter Games. If bobsledding isn’t your thing, don’t worry, there are plenty of other activities! You can go extreme tubing, zip-lining, climb one of the ropes courses, or ride up the scenic nordic chairlift. If you are planning on being there all day, they offer a Gold Pass during the summer season for $80 (adult) or $55 (youth) that allows you to do all of these activities except bobsledding.

In addition to the actual training facility, the park has a museum celebrating the 2002 Olympics in Salt Lake City and the history of skiing. We really enjoyed seeing the different uniforms and medals from the games, as well as all of the featured videos and props that were showcased. We even got a little emotional reading about all of the medals earned and athletes that competed in these iconic games.

One must-see event at the park is the All-Star Flying Aces Freestyle Show that goes from June 22nd to September 1st on Saturdays and Sundays. This show is incredibly entertaining and showcases Olympians and National Team Skiers flying through the air to perform acrobatic tricks and land in the freestyle pool. Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for youth and seniors.
