West Asheville Park is conveniently located and has just the right amenities, like a fun little playground!
 

West Asheville Park is located about a 1/2 mile from the heart of West Asheville. It includes a small baseball field, playground, and a picnic pavilion. Although not large enough to be a destination park its location makes it notable. If you have 30 minutes to kill before a dinner reservation in West Asheville and want to keep the little humans busy this is the perfect stop! 

The easiest way to get down to the play area is by stairs, so it is not super stroller friendly, but you can walk out the entrance and take the small side road down the hill as well. There are bathroom facilities on the property but I have never personally seen them open, I'm assuming they are only open during little league games on the baseball field.
