Newly renovated park in The Nations

A nature-themed playground with fun for all!

West Park is a newly revamped park in The Nations neighborhood, about 15 min southwest of downtown. It has a little something for everyone- a small play structure, large boulders and rope for climbing, little tunnels, swings (including baby wings), additional climbing structures, a bouncy turf ground, neighboring baseball fields, and a 1.1 mile paved trail loop that leads to Richland Creek. There are also restrooms and a covered pavilion. It’s the perfect spot for the whole family as both big and little kids will love running around here. The playground designers used a nature theme, which makes the play area extra cute and interactive. The park itself is fairly large, and there is parking close to the playground. There is not much shade, so this playground would be warm in the summer months.

Make a little adventure of it and grab a bite to eat in The Nations or Sylvan Park. Check out Hugh-Babies, a burger place which also has an outdoor play structure for kids, or a Nashville classic- Hattie B’s.
