Willard Beach is my go-to spot when I’m looking for a quick few hours at the beach with my family. It’s a small, neighborhood beach that boasts beautiful views, calm waves, a cute little playground, and a parking lot within a 3-minute walk from the sand. During the summer, there is a small snack shack, bathrooms, and an outdoor shower. Whereas other Maine beaches might wow you with big waves or miles of sandy beach, Willard Beach is a perfect little gem for when you’ve got a few hours and want to relax with your children without lots of hassle.
