Wing Dome in Seattle Has a Lively Atmosphere and Great Food!

Located on the water of Elliot Bay at Pier 56, Wing Dome brings the heat! (Don't worry, you can also get your wings less spicy if you aren't into that sort of thing, like myself!) Their fast-casual dining has been serving the community since 1994.

Everything is fresh and made to order, which you can tell in every bite. The menu includes wings which can be tossed in 1, 2, or 3 sauces depending on how many you order. The chicken tenders can be tossed the same way. They have 12 different sauces to choose from, including western barbecue, bigger badder cheese, garlic, lemon, triple garlic, buffalo, Thai sweet chili, and two dry rubs of honey habanero and Jamaican jerk. You can also order their alarm sauces which range from 2-7 in heat levels.

To go with your wings or tenders, they have snack baskets like carrot and celery with ranch or bleu cheese, fried mozzarella cheese sticks, crispy cauliflower, crispy onion rings, fried garlic cheese curds, and fried pickles. If you are not in the mood for wings or tenders, they have burgers, salads, sandwiches, and seafood. Some favorites are the fish 'n' chips, high-rise chicken sandwich, and the backfire burger. They also have a kids' menu featuring chicken bites, naked wings, cheeseburger, hot dog, and fish 'n' chips.

For those who like to stay up late, they do a late-night happy hour for dine-in or take-out with specials on their wings, tenders, and fries. They also do wing party packs with 50 and 100 wings, perfect for a gathering or celebration!

For some fun, they have a new sauce of the month created by their team members. This gives you something new to try each and every month. They also have The 7-Alarm Challenge. You have to eat seven, 7-Alarm wings in seven minutes with no drinks. If you complete the challenge, you get a t-shirt and a photo on the "Wall of Flame." Your meal is also free if you complete it...if you don't, though, you pay $7.77. You can order a recovery kit of one ice-cold milk and one ice cream sandwich afterward. You're gonna need it! It's always fun when someone is trying the challenge. The restaurant gets all hyped up!

At this location, there is a good amount of tables and chairs inside and a nice outdoor seating patio. The patio is not covered, but they have umbrella shades on the tables. The outdoor patio is also fenced in, which is nice for young children. For adults, there is a full-service bar serving up cocktails, beer, and wine.

No matter how you sauce it up, you're sure to love Wing Dome. Check it out for your next family meal. You can find their other locations at Greenwood, Kirkland, and The Armory.
