Cheap, Quick, and Yummy Food
Drive-in style Hawaiian cuisine with outdoor dining or to take with you, Aloha features rice with an array of meat and veggies, all with really great flavors. Most of their dishes are also served with mac and cheese or a side salad. Their recipes have been passed down through three generations of family members and always hit the spot. They're reliably open Memorial Day through Labor Day, and then are only open for catering the rest of the year, so we really recommend trying Aloha if you're in the area during the summer months.
The restaurant is about fifteen minutes from Garden City Park and Beach, which is free and has a playground. If you want a bigger beach, head to Rendezvous Beach instead. You can rent paddleboards and kayaks there.
