An adorable local shop, Amy's Cupcake Shoppe is a great stop for a fun family treat.

Located in the heart of downtown Hopkins, this beautiful little dessert shop will steal your heart. All the goodies at Amy's are handmade from scratch. Offering everything from cakes and scones, to delicious handcrafted coffee drinks, the real showstoppers here are the beautiful handmade cupcakes. With flavors including Vanilla Bean, Red Velvet, Salted Caramel Chocolate, and Coconut Dream, there's surely something for everyone. Their top-selling cupcakes include Almond Wedding, Vanilla Bean, and Salted Caramel. The shop features two long rows of different cupcakes, with the top row being daily items, and the bottom row being weekly rotating selections. This shop also features a huge selection of delicious French macarons, with flavors such as Cotton Candy, Bubblegum, Lemon Poppyseed, and Caramel Mocha. The most unexpected offering was a cute 'cupcake parfait" like a cupcake in a cup. Amy's also features plenty of gluten-free dessert options.

Our kiddos were delighted by this cute little cupcake shop, and I definitely see us coming back here time and time again. The kids loved the cute "How many cupcakes tall are you" on the wall. Our family loves to try different flavors when we pick-up a treat, so we all chose something different but tasted each other's cupcakes for fun. I really thought one cupcake flavor would stand out as the most popular, but they were all delicious. And each of our family members voted for their own flavor as their favorite. We tried Coconut Dream, Vanilla Bean, Almond Wedding, and Funfetti, and every single one knocked it out of the park, quite frankly. The ingredients tasted fresh and delicious, and overall we were so impressed!

All staff members here followed recommended Covid precautions, and the shop was immaculate. Amy's also offers curbside pick-up during the pandemic, giving families extra safety and flexibility.
