Aurelia's Authentic Mexican Food is a fun stop for delicious Mexican food to satisfy your whole family!

This is such a fun little restaurant to grab a bite to eat at. I'll admit, my kiddos can be picky eaters at times, and they haven't eaten at many Mexican restaurants before, so I wasn't sure if they would go for this. However, they gobbled their lunch right up! I'm not sure if I thought the kids might find the food too spicy, or just too different from what we usually enjoy when we eat out, but I was so glad they actually loved their food.

I appreciate restaurants that have a kids' menu. Why you might ask? Well, it's hard to explain, but even though I could usually just as easily buy a regular adult plate and split it between them, there's something about having their own little kids' meal to themselves that my kids just adore. The kids' menu choices include nachos, quesadilla, or burrito. Our kiddos had the quesadilla and the nachos and they both ate so quickly, I literally turned around and their meals were gone! I think that's a good sign.

I found the tacos delicious, and I was surprised at how tasty and fresh they tasted. I've had all sorts of different Mexican food in my life...some actually in Mexico, some really inauthentic, and some fresh and authentic. I'm not an expert, but this restaurant really did seem to have very authentic, very fresh ingredients. I enjoyed this, as it's not so difficult to have a really mainstream, commercial approach to Mexican food, but instead this place keeps it real.

After enjoying some fresh Mexican food here, drive over to the gorgeous Edenbrook Conservation Area and enjoy an afternoon or evening soaking in the beauty of nature.
