Evolution Craft Brewing is a perfect spot for parents that are beer lovers!

Evolution Craft Brewing’s Public House Location is a Salisbury institution.  Their dedication to the respective crafts of good food and good beer are on full display here so it’s definitely worth a visit with the entire family.  The dining space is large and open and outside dining is available when the weather permits.

Bring your appetite for delicious pub fare and beer so that you can fully experience what Evolution has in store for you.  The menus are diverse and offer a wide range of vegetarian items, seafood, tacos, craft pizzas, and rotating charcuteries along with pub-style standards like gourmet burgers.  The kids’ menu is perfect for your little ones with the usual offerings like burgers, hot dogs, pizza, and chicken tenders.

Evolution is known for outstanding beer so if you’re bringing a craft beer lover, they’ll be excited to see not only beer shop favorites but also limited release Public House exclusives.  Can’t decide?  No problem.  Beer flights are available and are a great way to navigate the expansive beer menu.

The staff here are friendly and accommodating so don’t be afraid to let them know if you need anything like a highchair or a booster seat.  They also have live music on occasion so if you’re bringing little ones or anyone else who might not want to sit close to the action just let them know before you’re seated.  The restrooms are on the smaller side and lack changing tables so make sure you’re able to handle parking lot changings when necessary.

Speaking of parking, free on-site parking is abundant.  Since Salisbury is a college town and a beach town, be prepared to experience larger crowds in all four seasons during happy hour and on weekend nights.  Weekdays are a great time to beat the crowds given the popularity of the spot.  Evolution’s outside seating deck is also dog friendly so don’t worry about leaving your furry family members at home.  The outside seating options are all umbrella-covered to help you beat the heat.

With great food, great beer, great atmosphere and great service you can’t go wrong making Evolution a part of your family’s next day trip.  You’re just a 10-minute walk from the scenic Salisbury Riverwalk and a 20-minute drive from the Salisbury Zoo, not to mention a 30-minute drive to the beaches of Ocean City, Maryland and the Delaware seashore.

Our work in Baltimore is truly a family affair. Husband and wife, Matt and Katie, work together to head up our ambassador team in Charm City. Katie is a Maryland native and has lived in the state her whole life. She moved to Baltimore in 2007 after graduating from the University of Maryland, College Park with a bachelor's degree in early childhood education. She has been working in the field of early childhood education as a teacher and family coach for the past 12 years. Katie also holds a Masters of Education in Literacy from Loyola University. She is passionate about giving kids and families the knowledge and tools that they need to thrive. Matt grew up in the Highlandtown neighborhood of Baltimore. As a city native, Matt is a great resource on all that the city has to offer. After months of helping Katie explore the city for her role at a Happy Active Family, he decided to put his love of writing to use and officially come on board as an ambassador. Matt and Katie have two girls, ages 5 and 7. They spend their weekends camping, hiking, or exploring other hidden gems in their area. Tap into their insider knowledge by downloading the app today!
