For healthy options, while visiting Kansas City, stop by Evolve Juicery for a great pick-me-up!

I'm personally not a huge fan of eating lots of junk, whether on the road, or at home, and this is often tougher while traveling. We stopped by Evolve in downtown KC and found some super yummy, healthful smoothies and juices. I was impressed with the selection of delicious drinks, all of which looked super fresh. The staff member there was extremely knowledgeable and explained to me the health benefits of these drinks, plus how long they retain their nutrients, etc. I also asked for her recommendation on a kiddo-friendly smoothie, as I know some go over better with littles than others. In addition to their lovely smoothies and juices, they also had a surprisingly sizeable array of pre-packaged, healthy meals to choose from. Had we had a bigger kitchenette in our hotel room, these may have been really great options for our family during our stay.

The girls ended up with a banana/strawberry smoothie, and it was delicious. We also checked out some of their fresh juices in a bottle, and these were totally delicious, too. They also had samples of some really yummy gluten and carb-free granola. While I was skeptical, it was actually super tasty. The kids were happy with their drinks, and mommy was happy, too. It was a great place to pick up some practical options for our road trip. Plus, on Saturdays, they mark down the juices 25%, so that was a great deal!

This location is downtown Kansas City, so the options were mostly street parking, though we didn't struggle to find a spot. After stopping by for some delightful juices, head over to the stunning old Union Station train depot to take in some beautiful architecture.
