Flat Branch Nature Preserve is a great way to escape the city and immerse yourself in nature. 

The Nature Preserve includes a 0.4-mile loop trail that has boardwalks and a gravel path with beautiful wildflowers and is great for all skill levels. There are signs along the trail to educate kids and adults on the woodland habitat and specifies found in the swamp forest. 

This trail is accessible year-round. This trail is stroller friendly, just in case the little ones need a break. Dogs are able to use this trail but must be kept on a leash. There is a covered pavilion that includes a water fountain and a grill but no restrooms. Multiple picnic tables can be found under the pavilion.

There is a parking lot with handicap and plenty of parking.
