Good Space for the Littlest Ones in Your Family.

Located in Scottsdale, near the Grayhawk Elementary School, Grayhawk Park is a 13-acre park with lighted facilities. It also features a playground, drop-in ramada, two reservable baseball fields, two basketball courts, two sand volleyball courts, two tennis courts, and restrooms. The playground also has a small play structure geared towards five years and younger. It has a slide, steps, climbing, tunnel, and steps. There is also a swing set with two baby swings on it. The playground has no shade, so it can get hot during the summer. This playground is great for younger siblings to play on while older siblings play ball. The baseball fields are used only for league play and are reservable through the city.

There is a long walking path that goes in and around the park. This is a great walking path for pushing a stroller, scootering, and bike riding. The walking path goes around a large open space, so bring balls, frisbees, and kites on windy days to enjoy this space. Like the playground, there is a lack of shade at this park. During the summer, head to the park in the early morning or as the sun sets to beat the heat. For older kids, sand volleyball, soccer field, basketball court, and tennis courts are a great way to get outside and get some exercise.

Grayhawk Park is a good little spot for young ones to get out and play. This park would be best in the spring, fall, and winter. After head to another nearby park such as Thompson Park or Sonoran Park for a multi-park day.
