Space-themed play structure is sure to wow kids of all ages!
Kinsley Mill Park and Playground is a recently redesigned playground in the City of Manassas. A large play structure is designed for space explorers with many fun features like tunnel slides and a a telescope. Slides vary in height and there are some challenging tunnels to climb from one section to the next so this playground should be exciting for kids of all ages! A smaller section for toddlers has monkey bars and slides. There is also a rockwall! The playground has two baby swings and two regular swings as well. We have never seen a space-themed playground anywhere else and had so much fun exploring this one! The kids keep talking about it and cannot wait to go back to Kinsley Mill for another adventure!
Kinsley Mill Park has a large parking lot, picnic tables, benches and lots of shade! The picnic area is heavily shaded and there are also grills available! The basketball court and tennis court are in more sun so be prepared for sports with hats and sunscreen. The paving on the basketball and tennis courts looked brand new. There is also some large, flat open green space for running around!
There are no restrooms at this park but a large shopping center with bathrooms and many restaurant options is close by! We love Krispy Kreme and Tropical Smoothie Cafe. The Krispy Kreme even has a drive thru for a quick coffee and donut stop on your way!
