Masthead Brewing in Cleveland offers great beer and good food in a family-friendly environment!

Located in the historic Bryant Building in downtown Cleveland, Masthead Brewing offers a large interior space with 300 seats to spread out and enjoy their delicious beer and fantastic food.  There’s also dog-friendly outside dining on Superior Ave to accommodate about 50 in case you feel the urge to be one with nature, but there’s no escaping the fresh air on nice days when they open the front façade made of large overhead doors.

Masthead’s menu will surely have something for everyone.  Sandwiches like the slow-roasted roast beef with piquillo peppers, provolone, horseradish aioli and arugula on French bread beckon you from the menus as does their list of appetizers ranging from soft pretzels served with pimento cheese and house-made IPA honey muster to the chorizo quesadilla.  If you ask me, the pizza is always a surefire hit.  It’s Neapolitan style with fresh ingredients like prosciutto, butternut squash, fontina cheese, ramp bulb, olive oil and parmesan... and that’s just on one pizza!  Starting early, fear not!  The Brunch Pizza does it right with applewood smoked bacon, pepper jack, fennel sausage, fingerling potatoes, sour cream drizzle, green onion and a fried egg.   For the money, there’s no better way to start a day of site seeing in Cleveland.

Oh yeah, Masthead Brewing Co also serves beer.  They’ve got all their own brews from Brown Ales to a Jalapeno IPA not to mention seasonal offerings like pumpkin ales and Oktoberfests.  Can’t decide, no problem... 4 oz flights of 4 different styles will help you find something to suit your tastes.  Carry out is also available so grab some cans before you settle up and head out.

The spacious interior is wheelchair and stroller friendly and the staff is ready and willing to help in any way they can.  The bathrooms are spacious and well maintained.  Metered street parking is available as are nearby parking garages. Call or email to get information on hosting special events or parties.

Our work in Baltimore is truly a family affair. Husband and wife, Matt and Katie, work together to head up our ambassador team in Charm City. Katie is a Maryland native and has lived in the state her whole life. She moved to Baltimore in 2007 after graduating from the University of Maryland, College Park with a bachelor's degree in early childhood education. She has been working in the field of early childhood education as a teacher and family coach for the past 12 years. Katie also holds a Masters of Education in Literacy from Loyola University. She is passionate about giving kids and families the knowledge and tools that they need to thrive. Matt grew up in the Highlandtown neighborhood of Baltimore. As a city native, Matt is a great resource on all that the city has to offer. After months of helping Katie explore the city for her role at a Happy Active Family, he decided to put his love of writing to use and officially come on board as an ambassador. Matt and Katie have two girls, ages 5 and 7. They spend their weekends camping, hiking, or exploring other hidden gems in their area. Tap into their insider knowledge by downloading the app today!
