Christmas Town Is an Entire Town that Is Decorated and Decked Out for the Holiday Season!
A tradition that dates back to the 1950s is back this year and we couldn't be more excited. Christmas Town in McAdenville, North Carolina has its lights and Christmas cheer on full display. From now until December 26th, you can walk, run, or skip through the 1.3-mile long route that consistently wins USA Today's Top 10 Awards! Driving is also permitted, however, there are certain roads closed off to traffic, so it is recommended to go by foot to get the best experience.
The Events:
This year the tree lighting ceremony will take place on December 1st at 5:00pm outside the Pharr Family YMCA.
The Yule Log ceremony will be held on December 16th at 5:00pm in front of Pharr Corporate Offices with a small parade starting at 5:50 shortly after.
There will be over 100 decorated homes, Christmas music played from the bell tower, a large nativity scene, and over 250 evergreen trees decorated in the town center.
The best part? It's all free to experience. Just bring your family and a little festive joy!
