Located in Downtown Nampa, MESA Tacos is a kid-friendly mexican restaurant that the whole family will enjoy.
When we are looking for a family-friendly restaurant, we always say the louder the atmosphere the better. We love going to MESA Tacos because they always have good music playing in the backround and it drowns out the kids if they are misbaving or just being kids! MESA Tacos is located 25 minutes from Boise in the Downtown neighborhood of Nampa, ID. Nampa has started opening some really great local restaurants, boutique and antique shops.
Every day except Sunday, since they are closed, they have happy hour from 4pm-6pm. They have some of the best agave margaritas that they offer at $5 each and $1 off all tacos. We always order the trio appetizer which comes with the best homemade crispy chips, salsa, blanco queso and homemade guacamole. Some of our favorite tacos that we like to get are El Torro (spicy), Lil' Shrimp (Moderate), Aloha (mild), and the Bang Bang Cauliflower taco (spicy). Everything feels fresh, homemade and unique and the service is fun and lively. The kids love getting the cheese or chicken quesadilla and they have homemade curly fries that are so good!
After dinner walk around the different shops in Downtown Nampa and if you are feeling like something sweet head to Stella's Ice Cream Shop. Stella's is a close 3 minute walk from dinner and is a fun ice cream shop with yummy treats and known for their ice cream sandwiches.
