Paco Sanchez Park Playground

Located conveniently near the Denver Public Library, Paco Sanchez Park may be the coolest playground I have ever been to. The center of the playground is what I can only describe as a large vintage microphone, known as "Mic Tower." Inside the tower, there are crawl spaces, ropes, hoops, and plenty of obstacles to climb on. Several climbing walls and slides come out of the tower and on the other side, there is a large bridge-like structure leading to an open play space with swings, hanging see-saws, and bounce objects. I have a feeling being at this playground will entertain young ones and bring the inner-child out in parents!

While the physical playground aspect is finished, the "Elevate Denver" project continues to include a plaza and activity kiosk for a mini recreation center with a music bowl and stage that will host food trucks and festivals.

Ski Lake is a 4 1/2 mile out and back hike that offers great views, wildflowers, and a great payoff at the top, right outside of town.
A fun and lively spot for parents to enjoy a drink, the scenery, and the liveliness of Main Street. It is always 21 and up, so make alternate plans fo
Enjoy authentic Mexican fare while sitting on the balcony of Tekila on Main Street.
